All of our groups will include psychosocial, psychoeducational, DBT, CBT, and mindfulness exercises, as well as other evidence-based treatments that work in a group of like-minded people who are on the same path as you, forming healthy connections with a facilitator who has lived experience. All levels of fitness are welcome. These are intended to lower stress, alleviate depression & anxiety, and develop healthy coping strategies while teaching you how to be accountable, confident, empowered, and emotionally regulated in order to achieve long-term behaviour change while also becoming fit and healthy.
The men in this group have had some amazing outcomes.
Their physical & mental health, as well as their outside relationships, have significantly improved. They support one another and are supported.
The benefits don't end there!

We are stronger when we stand together than when we stand alone!
Our Hydrotherapy minimises muscle pains and stiffness by reducing load-bearing on joints. Hydrotherapy is our choice for injury prevention and recovery.
As the limbs travel through the water, the resistance builds muscle and improves cardio-vascular fitness, as well as allowing you to change the length of your workouts, therefore promoting cardiovascular fitness. Performing motions in the water gives an external challenge that aids in balance training, this not only improves balance, it also decreases the danger of falling. (If you have a plan from your physio we can help you implement it)
This group, like all our groups is made to have limited numbers and be Anxiety, Mental Health and Disability friendly, it blends styles such as Muay Thai, Krav Maga, Boxing and Karate with the added benefits of Mindfulness and Gratitude practices, for a full mind and body approach, with people trying to do the same.
If you are a partner, parent, caregiver, health care worker for a loved one who has mental, physical disabilities or your someone that is trying to understand why you do the things you do and would like to break the cycle and change your patterns of behaviour, it's time you take care of yourself, if you dont this can lead to burnout, frustration, or transferring your problems onto your loved ones or your clients. We must care for ourselves in order to care for others! This program will teach you how to deal with strong emotions, staying regulated, becoming self-aware, and you will learn new ways to help yourself, a loved one, or a client you are assisting. Along with teaching you boundary setting skills, we will provide you with updated trauma information, which will provide you with a new perspective, making the new strategies you learn easier to implement.
